I've spent the last twenty-five years working with animals professionally — beginning in wildlife education, moving into hands-on animal care, and eventually holding curator-level responsibility for collections, husbandry programs, and clinical protocols at zoological institutions.
Across that career I've worked with hundreds of species: great cats and small rodents, raptors and parrots, venomous snakes and freshwater fish, geriatric primates and neonatal mammals. The day-to-day work was a mix of medical care, behavioral management, dietary planning, and the unglamorous business of keeping enclosures clean and animals thriving.
All Creatures of Pikes Peak is the natural application of that experience to private clients. The same observational skills that catch early illness in a captive collection catch a household cat going off its food before it becomes an emergency. The same medication protocols that keep a zoo animal stable are how a diabetic dog stays well while you're away. The same patience that conditions a hawk to a glove is what gets a reactive rescue dog through a quiet walk.
All Creatures of Pikes Peak is owner-operated. Every new client meets in person before any booking. Every visit is documented with photos and notes. Every species cared for is one I'm qualified to handle.
We're structured around three areas: standard care for dogs and cats, exotic species work and medical or behavioral cases.
Thirty minutes at your home, no charge. We'll walk through your pet's routines, medical history, and home access — and confirm we're a good fit before any booking is scheduled. The professional way to start.
